July 3, 2013 Yupo Experiments by Kathy K.
"I would like to bring some yupo paper for experimentation in Wed class.
I hope that it will be a new experience for most and watercolors are perfect for use on it."

July 17, 2013 Canvas Paper Experiment With Acrylics
Kathy K. will bring gesso, acrylics, and subject ideas. Lenora V. will provide canvas paper.
Bring your own brushes and acrylic paint (if you have any).
July 24, 2013 Canvas Paper Experiment With Oil Pastels+Turpenoid
Regina M. will give a brief introduction of oil pastel techniques, specifically, the different strokes: feathering, scumbling, stipling, hatching, cross hatching, and layering.
We will use the oil pastels in the cupboard. Kathy K. will bring gesso, Turpenoid, and linseed oil. Lenora V. will provide canvas paper and turpenoid. Regina M. will also bring gring gesso as well as paper for practicing the strokes. Bring your own not-so-good brushes to apply the turpenoid or linseed oil.

"You will need :- watercolor paper any size. ( I will bring some paper as well, 10 x 15” in size for those that need it.) Watercolor paints, brush and small spray bottle if you have one. Watercolor pencils will be fine too. Plastic food wrap ( I have plenty of this if one forgets to bring it.) Small water container to clean brush."

"Here's a chance to join ME in experimenting with painting with different colored inks (can be mixed with water). Bring an old brush or two, water color paper, and a styrofoam egg carton (if you have one). (Or, bring a cardboard carton, and use plastic wrap in the sections.)"
